Overview
The HyperX Cloud II headset is pretty good for gaming a wired USB connection means low latency alongside a fairly quite-balanced audio reproduction, and a decent mic to match. Comes in both a wired and wireless versions.
Comfortable enough to wear for long gaming sessions but with a flexible headband and ear cups that feature thick memory foam cushions and all of this for a pretty reasonable price

In-depth
The HyperX Cloud II is super comfortable to wear, mostly made of aluminium keeping it light with a flexible headband and cups which are covered in lush memeory foam cushioning while the cup outer casing is a hard black matte plastic leaving a robust but comfortable feeling. This is one of those gaming headsets you can spend all day in and be fine.
On the right cup you have the volume dial and on the left you have the power button and a button to mute the mic, all other controls are done through the Ngenuity app which is the HyperX app allowing for control of the likes of power saving and surround sound etc.
The HyperX Cloud II comes with a USB wireless dongle which allows the headset to connect via 2.4Ghz RF, however this is the only connection option so you can only use this with a device which has a USB port.

The battery life on these are is pretty amazing, clocking in at potentially over 30 hours batters life and using a USB-C charger means quick charging and plenty of time for your gaming sessions or listening to music without having to worry about recharging which is great on a comfy headset like this.
The surround sound is pretty good with gaming too if you are into that, however like many headsets its not available when used with PS/Xbox and as far as isolation goes its pretty reasonable like many other headsets but nothing to shout about.
Actual sound wide the headset is pretty good with a relatively natural frequency response meaning that you get a decent sound from both games and music without the boosted low end so many headsts give which can muddy the sound. Similarly this means the clarity of the headset audio is also pretty good
There are a lot of positives for the HyperX Cloud 2 gaming headset and if the design is something that appeals to you then this really is a pretty decent buy.
